WLC U-12s Advance to AYHL Semifinals2010-02-27
The Washington Little Capitals U-12s closed out the Atlantic Youth Hockey League playoffs with a 4-0 loss to Mid-Fairfield. The Little Caps advanced to the semis with a 6-2 win over Suffolk (NY) Saturday night. Earlier Saturday the U-12s dropped a 6-2 decision to the Connecticut Clippers and Friday the U-12s opened the tournament with a 6-1 win over Team Maryland.
The U-10s went 1-2 at the AYHL playoffs and closed out their season with losses against the Junior Flyers and Little Flyers today. The Little Caps ended the campaign with a 20-19-4 overall record and a third place finish in the AYHL Squirt Major South Division.
The U-13s also went 1-2 and closed out their season with a 4-3 win over Mid-Fairfield and a 7-0 loss to the Long Island Gulls today. The U-13s finished sixth in the AYHL standings this year and put together a 23-17-8 record.
