AYHL Playoff Action Kicks Off2010-02-26
Three Little Caps teams vying for Atlantic Youth Hockey League titles.
Three Washington Little Caps teams traveled to Pennsylvania/New Jersey on Feb. 26 to open the 2010 AYHL playoffs.
The U-10s won their first game in the squirt major division by a 7-4 margin over Team Comcast. The U-12s won their first pee wee major contest by a score of 6-1 over Team Maryland while the U-13s dropped a 1-0 thriller to the New Jersey Rockets in the bantam minor division.
The championships continue through Feb. 28 and each WLC team plays two games today to decide who advances to the semifinal playoffs.
